#iPhone8 #Apple – iPhone 8 Launch May Be Delayed Until November Due To Ambitious Design : The latest on the iPhone 8 is that it will be delayed – again. While this is old news, this new rumor looks more plausible as Apple’s supply chain manufacturers are said to be experiencing delays in production.

The latest news regarding the highly anticipated flagship smartphone from Apple is courtesy of an investor note by RBC Capital Markets, According to Business Insider, RBC mentioned that the said manufacturers indicated that production of the iPhone is “taking longer than expected.”

The delay is said to be caused by the ambitious design of the iPhone 8. To be more particular, Samsung is having difficulty manufacturing the OLED displays for the iPhone 8 because of the integrated home button feature.

Analog Devices Incorporated and Broadcom Limited, Apple’s suppliers for sensors and wireless charging components, respectively, have also reported slow growth in production during the current quarter. These delays will also likely delay the iPhone 8 launch. In fact, RBC believes Apple will be forced to push back the iPhone 8 launch to October or November.

This is actually old news. Earlier this year, reports came out that the iPhone 8 release date would be pushed back from its expected and traditional September launch. These reports also pointed at problems integrating the Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the OLED display.

As BGR noted, Apple usually launched its new iPhone on a September. It will then take a couple of weeks before it is made available in stores. With reports and rumors regarding issues in production surfacing more frequently, the iPhone 8 seems highly likely to miss the traditional launch. If that is the case, RBC believes this will not pose a problem for Apple.

Apple’s products particularly the iPhone remains extremely popular among consumers. A delay of one to two months will not deter the market from demand for the iPhone 8.
